Who We Are

We are fellow human beings.

We are counselors.

We are advocates.

We are small, minority-owned business owners.

We believe all humans deserve love, freedom, joy, and peace of mind, body, and spirit.

We believe you have all the answers inside of you.

We are here to help you discover those answers.

We believe in the healing power of authentic human connection in the counseling relationship and evidence-based techniques.

WE ARE HERE FOR YOU.

I am a counselor, public speaker, daughter, fur-baby momma, friend, and fellow human being.

I'm here today to help you, because someone was there to help me when I needed it the most.

I will empower you put the past behind you, manage your day-to-day struggles, and, ultimately, to create the future life you have always dreamed of.

I will not judge you.

I will journey alongside you.

I will help you move from self-loathing to self-love, from dis-empowerment to empowerment, from pain to healing, from past to present, from misunderstood to understood, from stuck to unstuck, and from "not mattering" to "mattering."

You don't have to stay "stuck" any longer.

I believe all of us have a story to tell and having that someone to tell your story to can be the key to your healing.

I believe the hardest part of the healing process is often to take that first step, making that phone call, to ask for help. Believe me, I have been there too.

Maybe in your past, you have not had someone to share your story with or you were afraid to share it with someone.

Maybe someone told you your story was not true or your story was not worth hearing.

You may have been afraid that consequences would come your way if you actually shared your story.

You are not alone in your experience.

Many of us carry our stories for a lifetime.  Then something happens within us and we know that the time to share is now.

I am here to support you through this journey, to find validation of what is entailed in your story, to consider what is needed to manage your story and then to intervene with ways to help you became a healthier you and understand how your story has impacted your life.

My goal is to offer compassion, a listening ear and evidence-based techniques to help you make sense of your story.
